The field-replaceable temperature and relative humidity sensor can simply be removed from meter and replaced when needed, so you can reduce unnecessary downtime. A Progressive Environmental Stability Indicator removes response-time error when you move through a site to different measurement locations, informing you when the relative humidity readings have stabilized.

FLIR’s new insulated pins are smaller in diameter – requiring minimal force to drive the pins into a surface – resulting in less impact to the material. The sandblasted, hardened-steel pins with single-piece design prevent bending and create an improved bonding surface for the abrasion-resistant insulation. The insulation extends all the way to the connection to the probe, so even if you drive the pins all the way into the wall cavity, the drywall will not affect the measurement.

FLIR MR02 - Replaceable External Moisture Pin Probe

The FLIR MR77 moisture meter comes with an external moisture pin probe for penetrating measurements. MR02 is the replacement for the accessory included with the MR77 purchase. Additional pins are available (part number MO220-Pins).

The MR07 Hammer Probe expands the functionality of your FLIR Moisture Meter by allowing you to take measurements in subfloor through carpet, hardwood flooring, and hard materials that are difficult to penetrate with a standard pin probe.

FLIR MR08 - Hammer and Wall Cavity Combo Probe

The MR08 Hammer and Wall Cavity Probe Combo is ideal for both hammer probe and wall cavity applications. The hammer probe has an additional handle on the bottom to add convenience for angled, horizontal, and inverted hammer-probing needs. The bottom handle can be unscrewed and used as a wall cavity probe to measure the moisture level of insulation within the wall cavity and can also reach the inside face of the exterior wall. You can also install the impact plate for use with a hammer to punch the extended pins through drywall.
